If you’ve been discouraged by the enormous power bills you’ve likely been receiving, it’s time to take some realistic steps towards lowering those bills. You can easily and inexpensively reduce your power bills by following a few very simple steps.

This article will list some simple, easy-to-do things to reduce your power bill.

Limit use: Begin with the room you‘re sitting in. If you were to take a call in another room or join your family at the dinner table, would you just leave the room without any concern for the lights and appliances in the room? If your answer is “yes”, then stop right there, and think about it. Even if you’ll be back in just a couple of minutes, switching off the power to un needed sources, even for just a few minutes can make an impact on your monthly bill.

Smart investments: Make some smart power saving investments by replacing your incandescent bulbs (aka standard light bulbs) with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs. These bulbs are a great power-saving investment because they can use the same, or sometimes use less power while providing more light.

Home appliance usage: Most people assume that their power bills are through the roof because of the number of electrical appliances they have. However, what you pay for power is not directly proportional to the number of gadgets you use, but rather the way you use them. Following are a few things to remember to help to keep your power bills in check.

• Use the washing machine only when there is a full load of clothes.
• Keep the air-conditioner or heater at the minimum low or high temperature, just enough to keep you off the heat or the cold outside.
• Switch off the computer monitor even when you take a one-minute break. It takes just a second to switch on the monitor again!

You’d be surprised at how quickly the savings will add up just by taking these simple steps.
Remember, reducing power in any way possible helps to save the environment. You really can make a difference! Make power at home with solar and wind energy to eliminate your power bill. Your power company may have to pay you! (Yes, REALLY). Get our complete guide at Earth4Energy

Two of the most effective and reliable alternative energy sources are solar power energy solutions and wind power energy solutions. They are probably the top renewable energy sources. With today’s technology, you can totally replace conventional power sources in your home. What this means is that ALL of the power you require to run your home can be delivered reliably and inexpensively by using one or both of these renewable energy resources. The sun and the wind. The sun’s power can be collected and turned into useable power with solar panels, and wind power can be transformed into energy for use in your home with the help of a windmill or windmills. Both of these solutions are easy to make yourself, and are incredibly cost effective. The money you‘ll save in the first month alone will practically pay for the cost of materials and instructional materials. In addition to reducing or completely eliminating your power bills, you’ll never be without power in the event of power outages. You’ll also be helping the environment by using renewable energy.

The following information will discuss a cost effective wind power energy solution that you can use in your own home.

  • Wind power generation works best when the following conditions are met:
Your property is at least 1 acre in size. Wind Power solutions need lots of open area in order to properly convert wind into power.
  • Wind speed averages approximately 11 miles per hour. If you live in an area that doesn’t get much wind flow, your system will not work properly.

The above requirements may represent the only Disadvantages of Wind Power.

Consult an expert to find out specifics. There are several excellent informational products available that you need to investigate. You’ll save yourself tons of money and frustration. Check this one out before installing your wind power energy solution. The one I recommend is Earth4Energy. They have by far the best resources, reviews, and TESTIMONIALS.

Wind power energy generation is the perfect alternative energy solution for your needs when;

You need to access water from external sources. A wind power energy system is the perfect solution for you in this case.

Your home requires lots of uninterrupted power, or you experience unusually frequent power outages. Combating power outages is easy with a pollution-free wind power energy system. Power outages due to weather, system overload, or for whatever reason will never inconvenience you again. No more unreliable power sources.

And when you’re just plain TIRED of paying high electricity bills!

A typical wind power energy system consists of a tower and five blades that turn when the wind blows through them. This produces energy that is turned into electricity by using a wind generator. This converted electricity can be used to run all sorts of electrical appliances.

The height of the wind tower (windmill or wind mill) will vary depending on the location. You’ll need a higher tower if you’re in an area that doesn’t receive optimal and consistent wind speeds. You can have a shorter tower if you live by the beach, or other areas that do receive plenty of useable wind. Generated power can easily be stored for later use, making wind power energy generators more efficient and effective than conventional electrical power systems.

Keep in mind that the terms wind mill, windmill, wind turbines, and wind generators are used to refer to the tower and blade system.

In conclusion, the constantly increasing demand for power all over the world is making it more important than ever for everyone to begin to take steps to not only save power, but to come up with alternative methods of producing it. Along with being diligent about saving power as well as water in our own homes, it’s important to explore new ways to produce power by using methods that don’t create more pollution, yet are still cost effective.

What are CO2 Emission’s?

I saw on www.ecomagination.com that they are helping lower CO2 emission’s in some vehicles. What does this mean?

Emissions are gasses that are given of as a by product. In this case, CO2 is a by product of combustion in engines. By lowering CO2 emissions in cars, they are reducing how much CO2 is in the exhaust.

Due to the 2012 prophecy, many questions are going around regarding what we can do to make our planet healthy.

Although we can’t stop it, we should still take into consideration that there are many reasons for the world ending because of how we have treated our own planet.

I recently read up on the General Electric’s website (http://ge.ecomagination.com/site/index.html) and from what they have on there, there appears to be a ton of inventions and ideas for making better decisions with our energy creation and consumption (most of which is greenhouse gas reduction). There have been a lot of windmills and solar panels set up everywhere, but there seems to be no interest in expanding this idea.

What I don’t understand is this.

With as much development and support this company has had, I don’t see why there is no difference… Would it be because the government has no intention of taking advantage of those developments? Or is it because there isn’t enough money or support in the expansion?

Don’t know, I was just inspired today that’s all lol. Just thought I’d ask for opinions.

The only thing that is going to happen in 2012 is that the central constellation of the Earth will change to Aquarius. The Earth ending is not based on any solid scientific evidence.

Smart Meter?, Is this another attempt of "Big Brother" trying to take away your privacy?

Now you’ve gotten upset at The Patriot Act, Bar Codes, Nativity Scenes outside Post Offices, Gun Control, and Abortion. All in my eyes are intrusions on my/our privacy. So really, How much will it be before you had enough. How much of other peoples freedom are you willing to take away before "The Man" knocks down your door? Check out this site if you want to see something interesting:http://ge.ecomagination.com/smartgrid/?c_id=googsmartmeter#/smart_meters
The more "greener" you get the less pollution and a cleaner Earth. Why do you need to know when peak hours are? It’s when your home.
Oh yeah, this also comes with the Cap-trade energy tax.

I know when peak hours are. That’s why I dont run my dishwasher or washer/dryer at 6pm when everyone is getting home. I don’t need GE to have access to when I’m using electricity and whatnot.

I agree, its just another invasion of privacy. Just like with internet companies being forced to turn over users who have pirated movies/music because Hollywood has a strong lobby in Washington.

Thank you :D
Beside,I want to know about the graphics in this website. What skill is it used through the Photoshop?

Flash.

You will have to learn Flash and Actionscript.

The graphics were likely designed in Photoshop.

Pick up a book on both.

Flash/Actionscript took me about a year in a classroom environment and about a year professionally before I became highly proficient with it.

The ecomagination commercial where the boy traps the wind and gives it to his grandfather for his birthday? There’s a line that goes "capture the windddd" at the end.

Also…
What is the song in the Nike commercial "The Second Coming" with Kobe, Nash, Rasheed, Pierce, Jermaine O’Neal, Marion, Chris Paul, etc.

I created an account just so I could share this answer because I struggled to find the name of the song and artist. Now that I have figured it out I thought I should share my insight. The song is called "Catch the Wind" and it is by an artist named Donovan. Sorry can’t help with the second song.
